I experienced a lot of lower back pain growing up. In university, it became a daily occurrence; I often fell sick—regular chiropractic adjustments provided aid. Not only did my back pain dissolve, but I noticed a plethora of health benefits as well. More energy and a stronger immune system developed; it inspired a new desire to be healthy overall. I’ve always had a desire to help people, and chiropractic care was the perfect avenue that fit with my philosophy about health.
What is one of the most common complaints you hear from patients, and what is the cause?
Upper back and neck pain; the cause is almost always poor posture and muscle weakness/imbalances.
If you can give everyone one piece of advice, what would it be?
You have to plan and make time to be healthy… it takes effort!
What is your favourite exercise or stretch?
Overhead squatting, it requires your full body to be engaged and stabilized.
