If you haven’t heard the good news on our social media yet, chiropractors and massage therapists are allowed to gradually return to work in Ontario! The wait to see your practitioner is over! Covid-19 has been tough on us all, and we are finally back!

Gradual reopening means we aren’t opening online booking right out of the gates. We have some patients who have been patiently waiting for appointments who didn’t fit under the emergency guidelines who need to get in, as well as patients who had their appointments cancelled during our lock-down.

What Does That Mean?

If you are a maintenance patient (pain free), please wait for online booking to reopen. If you need us before that, send us an email, or click on the button “Join Wait List” below to get a call from your practitioner. Be sure to include your availability and we will book your appointment based on that.

What’s Changing

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the re-opening of our clinic to patients comes with changes to policies and procedures that have been handed down from our governing bodies and the Ministry of Health (MOH) for not only our safety but your safety and well-being.

New policies and procedures are as follows:

Multiple COVID-19 screenings

This will be performed on the phone if you call, via email 24 hours before your appointment, and once again when you arrive for your appointment. It will seem repetitive, and it is. We want to make sure no changes in your health have taken place since the appointment was booked. Please be patient, each screening will be documented in your chart as per the MOH requirements.

Waiting in the reception area will no longer be a thing

For now. Until further notice, when you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car. We will wave you in or call you when the treatment room is disinfected and ready for you.

Essential visitors only at this time

We ask that only patients with appointments come into the office. An exception to this would be parents accompanying their child/minor in for their own appointment.

Please wear a mask, but no gloves

We ask that if your health allows, please wear a mask into the office. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you at a small cost. Please do not wear gloves into the office, you will be asked to remove them. We have no idea if they are new or where they have been.

Use hand sanitizer

It is located in the front, right when you walk in, you won’t be able to miss it. Please use it immediately when you come in, and again after your appointment.

No cash payments

For the time being, we are trying to minimize this kind of contact. If it’s an issue, please let us know. Debit cards with VISA or MC logo on it, credit cards, direct billing to most insurance companies, and electronic transfers continue to be methods of payment.

Register of visitors

Our college and the MOH are requiring us to keep a name and phone number of everyone who comes into the clinic. You may opt-out. The purpose of this is that in case someone in the clinic was COVID-19 positive, we would be able to let others know that they were exposed. It sounds scary, but rest assured we are and will be doing EVERYTHING we can to prevent that.

Treat our hallway like a one-lane bridge

Make sure the way is clear before you proceed.

How can you help us? 

  • Be on time for your appointments.
  • Follow the guidelines listed above.
  • Sign into Jane and set up your account. Put your credit card in and save it to your file (don’t worry! Its’ encrypted and secure!). You can even sign in, mark yourself as ARRIVED when you come to your appointment so we know that you are at the office and ready to come in!
  • Please be patient as we adjust to the new regulations.

  • A clean and disinfected treatment space.
  • Staggered bookings in between clients to minimize people in the clinic.
