Dr. Angie earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she received multiple academic awards, including Magna Cum Laude, and Dean’s list recognition. She has also completed many additional certifications specializing in movement assessment, rehabilitation, instrument-assisted soft tissue technique, and lumbar stenosis. Dr. Angie also graduated with Distinction from Queen’s University, receiving her Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Health Studies in 2018.
Dr. Angie believes in understanding each patient as a whole person, rather than just focusing on the site of the pain. She likes to assess the entire movement pattern of the individual, to see if the problem can be explained by compensations elsewhere in the body. She also understands that pain is multifaceted and considers external stressors in the patient’s life that may explain the pain’s nature and understand how it may respond to treatment. She uses a diverse range of treatment techniques, including chiropractic adjustments and mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and education. Dr. Angie likes to work collaboratively to create patient-centered treatment plans and provide proper education to build confidence and autonomy in each of her patients.
Dr. Angie values the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, mental health, and proper nutrition. She tries to keep an active lifestyle by going rock climbing, surfing, and riding her Peloton! In her free time, she also enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.
